The Beatles first U.S. tour was in 1964, which makes it the 49th, not 50th, anniversary of that milestone.

I’ll forever be a Tool fan and love old school Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden. I’ve been known to bounce between Carcass, Johnny Cash, Perfect Circle, Ella Fitzgerald, Sleater Kinney and classical, too.

I think I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for girl bands; I did a short stint on some roadie work for Veruca Salt back in the ’90s and I’m pretty sure I was in love with Nina Gordon.

I remember standing at the school bus stop talking with my friends about their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Wow, I’m old as dirt.

Contra, JT was great. I saw them several times in concert back in the day. Locomotive Breath is still one of my favorite songs ever.
