Rep. Michele Bachmann gives a speech in Virginia

Rep. Michele Bachmann was at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville this week for a speech, and as you might have imagined, it was a doozy. Among the former presidential contender’s eyebrow-raising claims: she got nothing wrong in the 2012 GOP presidential primary debates, which turned her into a “virtual Wikipedia.” As Raw Story notes:

During the Republican presidential primary debates, Bachmann claimed the HPV vaccine could cause mental retardation. She also claimed President Barack Obama had “the lowest public approval ratings of any president in modern times,” accused former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney of implementing “socialized medicine,” and said the U.S. “will be paying for the entire People’s Liberation Army of China” by 2015.

Wow, Dan, that’s really hard-hitting. Is that the best you can do? Let’s see: Obama (liar), Biden (moron), Pelosi (don’t drink the bong water), Reed (mob money), J. Jackson Jr. (headed inside where he belongs), Wasserman-Shultz (who’s on first?), the list goes on and on. The only thing you forgot was to blame Bush!
Oh, by the way, the NRA called: NOT!

    Have a great day!

    walt,

Who is the “Reed” you’re talking about? John Reed? Ralph Reed?

You have a great day, too!

Of course no one could take a list of the GOTP and insert apt insults behind their names…what children you all are.

I have tried to stop using the National Memo as a source recently, but the article linked below is rather interesting. Seems like the split beginning to appear in Virginia’s Republican Party isn’t just about the Governor’s race. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Will Virginia’s Republican Party go with the Cuccinelli/Bachmann wing or move to a more centrist stand?

I’m no fan of Bachmann but she is right about this. Gardasil has so many horrible side effects that affect the youth especially since they’re giving it to boys now. As for China it’s a transfer of wealth. The U.S. economy is weakening as China explodes in growth everyday. As our coal plants our shut down China builds all the time with almost no enviromental restricitions. We’re basically paying for our own demise in that regard.

    57 States?
    U.S. Marine Corpse?
And who can forget “Stand up” Joe Biden telling the paralyzed man to
stand up out of his wheelchair?

    All politicians are idiots.

#4 “According to Politico, two wealthy business donors ripped Cuccinelli as too extreme and said the business community won’t support him as a candidate. One attendee said Cuccinelli ”was angry and hostile” after being slammed by the two donors.”
    -
Business leaders are not too wild about Cuccinelli.

Allen, “horrible side effects”? Please cite some, with sources. Because from what I’ve read about it, that’s nonsense.

Kristen, oh I only just meant seizures, stroke, auto-immune problems, paralysis, and death. That’s all.
