Have not been too active of late so am not certain if Eliz. Warren’s grilling of Justice Dept. officials regarding HSBC money laundering of Mexican drug cartel funds was mentioned. Even if so, it deserves a second look. This is what elected officials should be doing instead of behind the scenes and business as usual negotiations, deals and slaps on the wrist:

The guy that operates that barber shop does a great job. Good old school haircut for $11 and he doesn’t trifle you with small talk. Get in, get out, git-r-done.

Oh, wow; in spite of all the kvetching about the revised blog format, it now has an automatic spellcheck feature; frank and pammala, you no longer have any excuse for poor grammar. Heck, pammy may finally learn how to spell her own name.

    Win-win!

Would this be one of those poor fellows who doesn’t deserve to be on the sex offender registry?

Off to Chicago for an evening fund raising event with friends and alumni of the college. If all goes as planned we should receive about half a million in gifts tonight. Keep your fingers crossed. :)

Have a great weekend fellow bloggers.

It’s kinda hard to take Fauxcohontas seriously when she was busted for lying about her heritage so much. Not only that, she is filthy rich.

Chuck, have you ever done any investigation into the “sex offender” list? A college kid who urinates in public or has sex with his 17 year old girlfriend will be on the same page as the guy who rapes a toddler with a candlestick. There are no levels of offense or clues given or codes as to exactly how dangerous the “offender” is. This is common knowledge. It’s ridiculous and renders the information useless. Rarely is as much info known about the offender as in the Ashley Plantation case.

The most interesting part of that story was that, in the great conservative law-and-order state of VA, strangulation was only a MISDEMEANOR up until last summer. Wtf?

    Yo, Henry.
Warren is in the Senate and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. Have a nice day!

There are many wonderful towns and cities and hamlets in these United States, but a day like today, with the grand old Blue Ridge touching crystal clear blue skies, leaves little doubt why the Roanoke Valley has been my lifelong home! Have a great day fellow bloggers!

    hey scott whitaker in #1,

I DO like to see that effort by our elected officials (fauxcohontas) put forth to grilling “the man”. I hope you appreciated Ted Cruz’s similar efforts, as well.

Brings back memories of when I lived in Fulton Co. PA.

One barbershop. Two style of haircut — crew-cut or regular-cut.

Start telling him how to cut it, he’d tell you were to go — over the mountain to get a “custom” cut.

    :-)

    Bob @ 4:56,

Yeah, and the conservative movement is pretty much just knocking ‘em dead.

Have fun tilting at that windmill.

I’d say if Elizabeth keeps up the good work she might just give Hillary a run for nomination of the next president of the US. It’s time we have a native american woman for president… :)

Yep. Until I was sixteen, the only haircut I knew existed was the half inch or quarter inch buzz cut. My barber would let me keep my sideburns if I wanted them. He would whack them off and give them to me wrapped up in a piece of tissue paper!
    :)

Scott Whitaker, I had not seen the information about Elizabeth Warren, but what a great question! It’s ramifications are sad, really. Could there be a more more stark example of the world of haves and have nots in which we live? Money buys influence in our courts. Period.

I have seen the unemployed girlfriends of drug dealers go to jail for laundering hundreds of dollars…hundreds of dollars. They, of course, didn’t have billions in assets and law firms on retainer.

What a great question for Eric Holder.

    a right wanger

As the cool kids say, I IRL LOL’d.

Wanger Tanger baby, but you’ll never have the pleasure!
