A nightmare for sure! Both of these guys should be in jail for F’n up our country!
obama to spend an additional 8 million dollars of tax payer money to a pr firm to promote his health care plan. report says 20 million already spent. with a 17 trillion dollar deficit and spending like he just won the lottery, you ” we want it our way ” radicals could have lobbied for this money and used it to construct a bike only greenway. sorry you missed out. nevertheless, you can dream about it.
A few links for you. Are you capable of reading them from a non-partisan perspective?
Go Ahead, Admit It: George W. Bush Is a Good Man
As Bush library opening puts his presidency back in the spotlight, his approval rating is up
Obama and Bush, distinct men with policy overlaps
That was my first thought when I saw two of those signs close together too because at a distance all you see is “BUSH’ and “ALLEN”.
At least they have held real jobs…something your little zebra man hasnt
You got a guy named Bush and a guy named Tim Allen running — two comedians.
Have you seen the Joe McNamara signs around the Cave Spring area with the “re” in re-elect cleverly blocked out? Trouble is, you can see right through the blockout if the sun is shining on or through the sign. Windsor Hills is a race to watch this fall.
Really? Really???? I would prefer Bill Clinton (except in the case of interns of course and where telling the truth under oath is required)
I’m sure some of you will have raised eyebrows over pammala calling the president “zebra man.” But think on the bright and POSITIVE side: she refrained from calling him a half-breed, or a mongrel.
Clearly she believes American has been going downhill ever since the Supreme Court’s decision in Loving v. Virginia.
He did hold real jobs, though. Just nothing so “real” as working in a 7-Eleven.
The actual names are Joe Bush and Tim Allen. I couldn’t resist having a little fun with that.
danny danny danny, you keep referring to 7-11, why is that dear? That was months ago that I got rid of that place. I do not have to work sweetie, but you do..tuff
well lets just call him an appaloosa then babe, he hasn’t proven himself to be a man
mongrel, hey now thats a great idea danny, thanks !!
“danny danny danny, you keep referring to 7-11, why is that dear? That was months ago that I got rid of that place. I do not have to work sweetie, but you do..tuff”
Catch that, folks? pammala’s unemployed, which means she’s earning no income, which means she’s paying no income tax, which means she’s one of the 47 percent. And she’s taunting those of us who work and pay income tax.
Yeah… those were horrible, nightmarish times!
Unemployment 2004 – 5.4% Now: 7.8%
US Debt 2004 – $7 trillion Now – $17 trillion
Avg health insurance premium 2004 – $3,200/yr Now – $6,000/yr
Gas 2004 – $2.20/gal Now – $3.50/gal
Number of people on foodstamps 2004 – 24 million Now – 46 million +
2004 – Al Qaeda and Muslim terrorists on run, America respected/feared abroad
Now – Terrorists regrouping and US a laughingstock
2004 – People optimistic and proud to be American
Now – Pessimism abounds and Americans more divided than ever!
So, Dan, your nightmare is most rational American’s dream…
That ‘zebra man’ comment should be removed. There is no place for such racial taunts.
Great Statistics Paddy!
No one will have the guts to counter…
Paddy, a house of cards is not any sane American’s idea of a dream. That you are pretending Obama caused the collapse is not hard to figure, nor is the fact that you are wrong.
Dan, don’t enable and laugh about it, that was more than enough cause to send the useless, racist, ignorant pammala packing. You do not need hits that bad.
I know you give pammala enough rope to hang herself, but her racist comments aren’t the least bit funny.
#9 Dan Casey …….Just nothing so “real” as working in a 7-Eleven.”
While I certainly do not agree with much, (well, nothing), of what pammala posts. I was a bit surprised that you would make the remark, (and I do realize you were probably being snarky), about working at 7-Eleven. My grandpa once told me, when I made the remark about a job I thought to be less than desirable, “There is no job that is beneath any of us so long as it is honest work.”
PP, do you really think nobody has the guts to counter? I mean, #14 should be even simple enough for conservatives to figure how silly this is.
Donna, you’re right. I was being snarky, in response to pammala’s snarky assertion that the president has never had a “real” job. That is total BS. As a teen, he worked in a retail ice-cream shop. After college, he worked a number of different “real” jobs, including as an international consultant, a community organizer, a lawyer and a law professor (at a very conservative law school, fyi). Elective positions are “real jobs,” too, and he’s held three of those.
Look, pammala, Dan somehow got suzie to stop her overt racist comments (which means she hides them better now). We don’t need you to start up with that crap.
Paddy O’ Ryan | April 24, 2013 at 10:40 am
Now tell us what was going on in 2008 when the total effect of 8 years of
Bush/Cheney was happening.
Donna, your Grandpa was right, “There is no job that is beneath any of us so long as it is honest work.” But I had to laugh this week when perusing a young relative’s Facebook page full of right wing angst over losing the 2nd Amendment and taking back his country and people who won’t work…
I could not help but notice his first job was at a union represented company and his new job is at a union represented company so he is perfectly willing to hate, and not quite honestly bash liberals and Obama, but he sure ain’t turning down all those worker rights and protections we got for him and the benefits and wages that union has gotten for him.
And btw Donna, back when pammala purported to own the 7-Eleven, she happily accepted food stamps while overcharging her customers, all the while coming on here and grousing about all the government handouts that were available to the poor.
She wouldn’t walk her own talk, though. She’s kind of like doctors who earn far more than tidy incomes because of Medicare who scream and shout about single payer.
It’s amazing how people forget. Here is a timeline of the subprime mortgage crisis leading up to the financial meltdown in 2008. This didn’t happen on the current administration’s watch. This administration just seems to get pounded repeatedly for not being able to fix it! Pay particular attention to the events of 2007.
Dan, I missed the blog posts in which pammela purported to own 7-Eleven. I did not even know that 7-Eleven accepted food stamps. I wouldn’t last as an employee at 7-Eleven for very long. First customer who used food stamps would get my advice as to how much more they could purchase elsewhere for the same amount.
Alas, I am old, and not too prone to be “politically correct.” Say what I mean, and mean what I say.
I really get tired of the Bush vs Obama stats. It is very clear that the debt has gone up much more under Obama. How much of that has to do with Bush you ask? Take a look at the following graphic.
And we all know that way more people have lost jobs under Obama. You can’t argue with that. Can you?
It is still a bad dream and the right can wake up. The economy aside, Bush and Cheney still need to be face an international court for their war crimes. I can’t figure out why the current administration is still protecting them? Too conservative I guess.
Bravo Bravo …. Paddy no one can contend with that id like to see them try.
This administration is really really beginning to scare me.
In 2008 the dems were lying their way into office much like they have done for a 2nd time in 2012. All lies, tell me one thing either time that obama campaigned on that has come to fruition. (that doesnt have some sort of question mark attached to it. ) If obama was so good and cared about this country why does he have to spend our tax money to basically advertise obamacare. You libs will be singing a different story when obamacare completely ruins the foundation of this country and we have a socialist welfare state.
Paddy O’Ryan: So, Dan, your nightmare is most rational Americans’ dream…
pistol pete: No one will have the guts to counter…
I see no reason to bother commenting on any statistics that aren’t followed by a source.
Context is everything. For example, someone hacked the Associated Press’ Twitter account to report another bombing. Fake, of course. Until it was proven wrong, stocks took a hit.
…of less than one percent for maybe ten minutes.
Silence doesn’t mean we can’t think of any way to rebut. Silence means we can’t think of any reason why we need to do so.
Does ” got rid of that place” mean “failed”? Particularly when allegedly owning not actually managing a business?
Why would anyone “get rid” of a successfully run and profitable business?
Robbie, would you say Romney and Ryan weren’t trying to lie their way into office? Funny how that was working for you until…it wasn’t.
Geesz, what a nut house.
We’ll talk a little more after the Democratic wave coming in 2014. I just don’t have the time right now to deal with all the silliness coming from this thread.
GOTPers never learn. They just believe any lie Faux or Limbaugh tell them. NO need to think for themselves.

We think we’ve found the source of the low voter turnout (10 percent) in Tuesday’s Washington, D.C., special election:

Two very good decent men who were unjustly trashed by the leftwing media including the Roanoke Times.
That’s just not right.
It was precipitated by the actions of the Democrat-controlled Congress.

Fox News poll: After Boston, Most Approve of Government’s Handling of Terrorism
> Majorities of voters approve of how law enforcement, the White House and the media handled the Boston Marathon bombings.
> Virtually all voters — 91 percent — approve of law enforcement’s handling of the Boston bombings,
> 71 percent — approve of the Obama administration’s performance.
> A 55-percent majority approves of the job the media did.
and this one is especially for Paddy O’Ryan
> 69 percent approve of the job the government is doing protecting them from terrorism. That’s up significantly from 50 percent the last time the question was asked on a Fox poll near the end of George W. Bush’s second term.
Let’s put the shoe on the other foot, Dan. You groused about the Bush tax cuts, but I’ll bet you were more than happy to accept the child tax credit and the low tax rates. You wouldn’t walk your own talk and give the higher percentage you claimed government deserved though. Why not?
“…tell me one thing either time that obama campaigned on that has come to fruition. “
He ended the war in Iraq. You’re welcome.
So Susie…current issues are controlled by a Republican controlled Congress? Makes perfect sense now. Thanks for your wisdom!
Robbie | April 24, 2013 at 1:50 pm “…tell me one thing either time that obama campaigned on that has come to fruition. “
President Obama: “And if we have Osama bin Laden in our sights and the Pakistani government is unable or unwilling to take them out, then I think that we have to act, and we will take them out. We will kill bin Laden. ”
Yessireee – did you miss the news back then? President Obama said he would see that bin Laden was killed…and he did…
Bush ended it for all practical purposes. So his one big thing….he failed at.
Bush really accomplished quite a lot when you think about it.
1. He won a war.
2. For the first six years (until the Democrats took over Congress) he led our economy to new heights.
3. NO domestic terrorist attacks after 2001.
4. Brought discipline and dignity back to the Oval Office
5 Near record-low unemployment
obama has accomplished none of these. In fact everything he’s touched has faltered.
GOP controls 1/3 of the process.
“Bush really accomplished quite a lot when you think about it. . .
3. NO domestic terrorist attacks after 2001.
obama has accomplished none of these. In fact everything he’s touched has faltered.”
One thing I love about Suze is her Everest-sized caveats, a la above. No domestic terrorist attacks after 2001? She means, after the worst domestic terrorist attack EVER in the history of the nation — under Bush.
(But watch, she’ll blame it on Clinton, as if he was the one reading “My Pet Goat”).
Bush learned a lot after 9-11, such that he ensured no more attacks happened in his last seven years of service. obama, even with the benefit of 9-11 is still as lax and careless as ever. Is Boston the fifth Muslim terrorist attack under obama now?
Robbie demands: “tell me one thing either time that obama campaigned on that has come to fruition“. I don’t think anything will puncture your bubble of denial, but here is a list for starters.

Need me to keep going, there are plenty more.
AND he gave support to the mission that got Bin Laden and ended the Iraq War!
I’d say that the one big thing you claim Bush was supposed to do “keep us safe”, was the one big thing he did the worst. 9/11/01 happened on Bush’s watch, with the “most experienced” administration in decades AND with multiple warnings! It is beyond incredible to credit Bush with “keeping us safe”. Typical, but incredible. That means lacking in credibility, as per usual.
The Iraq War, economic crash and hemorrhage of jobs would be his next worst big things. I can see why you cheer him.
Yes. obama did shine shoes and worked at Baskin Robbins. If smoking reefer counts as a job, he held that one the longest.
9/11/01 happened on Bush’s watch, with the “most experienced” administration in decades AND with multiple warnings!
Bush had been in office eight months. The terrorist had been here years under Clinton. The warnings were not specific. I don’t know what you expected him to do. You don’t either.
“…obama did shine shoes and worked at Baskin Robbins…
He’s in the White House and you’re some fifth-rate twit living in mommy’s basement who thinks he’s Marie Curie.
He’s in the White House and you’re some fifth-rate twit living in mommy’s basement who thinks he’s Marie Curie
Don’t you do some botanical stuff in your mom’s basement, Art?
You people who are still buying the obama admin’s pap about the Islamofascist terrorist boys acting alone — Do you ever wonder what they did for money to finance their weapons? I don’t think their welfare checks would cover it. No, of course you don’t wonder. You don’t question anything. You just go along with what the idiot tells you.
AND with multiple warnings! It is beyond incredible to credit Bush with “keeping us safe”. Typical, but incredible. That means lacking in credibility, as per usual.
Turns out Tsarnaev’s name was in terrorism database and
Russia warned the U.S. about Tamerlan months before the bombing.
That means the Idiot-In-Chief was warned but did nothing.
You going to be as hard on your boy as you are on President Bush?
Suzie, it is not about what I “expected him to do”. You keep whining about “He kept us safe” and he didn’t. Stop lying.
“Don’t you do some botanical stuff in your mom’s basement, Art?”
I see you’re incapable of refuting my point. It’s going to be a loooong 4 years, dude. Enjoy!
“You people who are still buying the obama admin’s pap about the Islamofascist terrorist boys acting alone — Do you ever wonder what they did for money to finance their weapons?”
I assume they got the moola from the president who let them in the country. Which one was that?
I see you’re incapable of refuting my point.
What point? It was just another childish unprovoked personal insult. And you’re the guy always screeching for others to be banned.
I didn’t know folks were given money for becoming U.S. citizens. Turns out the older brother was on the terrorist list, and the Russians warned obama. Why aren’t you outraged at your boy’s negligence, Dan? Seeing you were so hard on Bush and all.
To all you idiots out there blaming the mortgage crises credit card crisis money crisis etc etc etc on the gop: THERE is one basic law of money that all those people who beg for help cry that they dont have money to pay back debt are not following…………… DONT BUY ANYTHING YOU CANT PAY FOR!!!!!!!! This is not one party’s fault but evryones fault that signed on for a loan that was not good business sense. No he didnt end the war he road the shirt tails of the actions put into motion years before he was elected. As far as extending bush tax cuts there were laws written into those cuts that if sertain criteria were not met they would automatically extend. He didnt do it. And i hope you libs realize that this surge in the market is due to the fed printing money that they dont have the gold to back it up with… Its all borrowed money from china and the far east. You will all see this is a false sense of security. All those little programs he got started all have unseen bills tacked onto them with huge stupid spending practices.. Like 9 million to study caterpillars in africa whats that about but we are furloghing air traffic controllers. You all cant be this nieve
Suzie: “Do you ever wonder what they did for money to finance their weapons?”
Good thing suzie’s not leading the investigation:
“According to a source familiar with the investigation, authorities are looking into the possibility that Tamerlan Tsarnaev helped finance the bomb plot through drug sales.”
“You all cant be this nieve…”
Please define “nieve.”
Robbie, your delusions are your problem, don’t make us put up with more lies. The financial industry has been investigated and found guilty by everyone except the GOTP they were in bed with. It is simply and literally a documented fact that Wall Street created the weapons of mass destruction and self-enrichment that harmed the entire world and the right wing idiots you parrot helped them do it.
I found a videos for you because you do not seem the type to read much.
Its comical that you believe everything you read on the internet…. I bet your boyfriend is also a french model lol….. BONJOUR ( wink wink) My delusio ns cmon you shouldnt buy what you cant afford, ask your lib friends who are responsible. FACT It wasnt all conservs it was all parties at the top of that list… SO you really believed that wall street created wmd’s. I bet you also believe the twin towers was an inside job perpetuated buy our govt and the kennedy assassination was a conspiracy theory. Lets see what you really know about politics and the parties and politics…. Nixon was a crook and the kennedy family sold liquor during prohibition… back in the 40s 50s 60s the parties traded postions and the political index. if youu know what that means which i doubt…. The liberals know always appeal to weak minds, followers if you will who find it easier to do the wrong thing and justify it because it is the easy way out….
Heck i bet you still think the civil war was fought about slavery?
That is on of the biggest delusions of all time.
Robbie, I believe it is abundantly clear which of us has been sold a bill of goods. And it is not me. I do not begin to “believe everything” on the internet as I am not a right winger. Hope that clears it up for you.
No, “you shouldnt buy what you cant afford” that has never been disputed, what you should also never have to do is be lied to and misled by professional realtors, mortgage sharks, banksters and the financial industry. But we are, we have been and we continue to be.
Did you happen to catch Frontline last night about the needless fees paid in 401k plans by schmucks like us? If not, you should really watch it.
I know, it’s on the internet, but it is also true.
Robbie, I am telling you that the verdict is in. Even the people from the Reagan administration are coming clean.

Some of the worst legislative and economic decisions this nation has EVER had foisted on us were GOTP initiaives:
The 1999 Financial Services Modernization Act
The 2000 Commodity Futures Modernization Act
Those two brought us “weapons of financial mass destruction”.
The 2001 Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act
The 2003 Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act
The 2003 Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act
Those were Bush’s contribution to the deficit and debt long before the economy collapsed in 2007-2008.
Robbie, it is not what I believe son, it is what is. I think you have fallen for right wing memes and you can’t get up.
“Heck i bet you still think the civil war was fought about slavery?
That is on of the biggest delusions of all time.”
No need to listen to anything else Robbie says. Boy are you “nieve,” fellow.
Hey sandi gdad what is the definition of a democrat (without looking it up)
“THERE is one basic law of money that all those people who beg for help cry that they dont have money to pay back debt are not following…………… DONT BUY ANYTHING YOU CANT PAY FOR”
Yeah, Robbie, like an elective invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, didn’t have WMD, wasn’t an Al-Queda safe harbor, and wasn’t an imminent threat to the U.S. but was a realpolitik wedge against Iran’s regional machinations.
Yeah, since that war of choice was off the books and on the credit card and is still costing huge amounts of money in debt service, tell us who had control of every bit of the federal government when that debacle was created and continued for years after it was supposed to be accomplished? Some fiscally prudent leaders from some fiscally prudent party, you think?
Yeah, Robbie, like an elective invasion of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, didn’t have WMD, wasn’t an Al-Queda safe harbor, and wasn’t an imminent threat to the U.S.
Warren is talking about Afghanistan 2010 and obama’s massive invasion therein, ladies and gentlemen. Good show, Warren.
Suzie, if we already think you don’t know what you are talking about, why would we think you can tell us what Warren is talking about? Your credibility problem precludes even telling us what Robbie is talking about, and you two speak the same language.
Normal people know Warren was speaking of Bush and the Iraq invasion.
Smart people know all the complaints the left had about Bush Iraq held equally for Afghanistan in 2010 when obama launches his massive invasion. Yet the left doesn’t utter a peep about obama. That’s because they’re partisan hypocrites.
All im gonna say is that I can back up anything i say with documented facts.
Warren if your talking about Iraq during the bush admin and the war (so as not to confuse sandi and suzi known as the bobsey twins going forward) there were friends i have that served there and there were wmd’s there and they did harbor and finance al queerda) I have onr friend who was in one unit that all they did was investigate former storage areas for wmds and he has told me that they were definately there and the evidence was that they were moved many times trying to avoid detection. No matter what you do to cover up wmds there is still leakage in especially the crude from in which they were created being in a 3rd world country. In fact more often than not they were sheilded buy schools or homes or villages. So belive what you will go talk to a veteran that served this country over there if you want the truth not the liberal media.
Do you even understand how paranoid you sound? The liberals have not allowed the military to tell the truth? Is that your latest “documented fact”? Pitiful!
