The great thing about that event is that anybody can take advantage of what was offered that evening. We have more options for buying fresh local goods all the time, and anybody who has not checked out those food trucks is really missing out!
Plus the local beverages … we’re lucky to have it all.

My husband and I were lucky enough to crash this event too (just kidding, thanks for the invite Mr. Tenzer). What an enjoyable evening! Walking in and getting a seed bomb of edible flowers was only the start. A glass of tasty local wine & a “drunken chicken” slider were followed by some great conversation. On our way out, we even purchased a baguette from our favorite Saturday morning Grandin Village farmer’s market bread lady. All in our little Roanoke. Amazing!

I was at the Carilion market table on Tuesday and it has a great selection of products…fruit and veg along with dairy and meat from their vendors. It was manned by Tenley Weaver, who runs GFGP from what I can tell, and one of her staffers who works the GFGP table Saturday mornings.

gotta love the food trucks in town. some of the best spots you can eat
