So excited about Cook Out coming to Roanoke and Rocky Mount. (I heard Danville, too). Love to eat at the ones in NC and Lynchburg. Great menu and prices!! So glad it's going to be a "sit down", as the ones in NC are drive thru only.
Cook Out...if you're reading this, since you are expanding....PLEASE give us one in Martinsville too!!!!

glad to see cook out coming, the food is great and the prices are low for the quality of food. It appears that steak and shake will not ever open. wish they would put a shake shack in there instead. Also, I drove by the wing boss on orange ave. not much process as it appears they may not open either.

Yes, both Cook-Out and Steak 'n' Shake are putting locations on Hershberger Road in the general vicinity of Crossroads Mall/K-mart.
They will not be far from one another. Neither will they be far from McDonald's or Taco Bell or Wendy's.
I see fast-food restaurants grouped together all the time, often right off interstate exits.

" the Cook- Out site as being in front of K-Mart near Crossroads Mall in Roanoke." wasn't Steak N Shake going to build where the old Western Sizzlin was next to McDonalds? That's only a couple of hundred yards away, any comment from them?

So excited about Cook-Out coming to Roanoke and Rocky Mount (I heard one in Danville too). Now, I won't have to drive to NC or Lynchburg to get my fix. Great food, menu and prices.
So glad this is going to be a "sit-down". The ones I have been to in NC are drive thru only.
If you're reading this Cook-Out, and you're in the expanding phase....Please come to Martinsville too!!

The food is good. My problem with it is you feel so rushed. You don't have time to look at the extensive menu and make up your mind quick enough without making the people behind you mad. This has made my dining experience not so pleasurable.
