Downtown restaurants..we recently decided to dine at Picaso’s downtown. As we walked in the first feeling was it was cold, it literally was cold inside and the lighting was poor, but we were hungry and wanted pizza or some other comfort food so we decided to try it. Sadly, we were sorely disappointed. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which turned out to be a soggy mush or meat that took on the disguise of a meatball and the sauce was poured right out of the can. I took one bite and ask the server to take it back. She gladly did and explained that many people returned the spaghetti complaining of quality and lack of taste, but the owner does not listen. The salad was pre-made with the last of an iceburg lettuce. The only thing good about the place was the beer and the friendly, attentive server. She belongs somewhere else making better tips.

Well, actually … I had someone take the weather blog when I went on a complete non-technology vacation (twice actually). Usually keep it going during storm chasing. But it’s a great idea and I hope you can enjoy some time away, Lindsey.
