Great article...I passed it along to my beer contacts here in the NRV. I would like folks to know that you can get a great commercial quality 10 gal aluminum brew kettle for only about $40 online and IMHO it is better than one of the expensive SS ones. I started out with a 5 gal SS beauty but it was not large enough and didn't perform fast enough. I now have 2 of the 10 gal alum pots perfect for my all grain brewing needs since I do BIAB (brew in a bag .....the aussie method). You just have to season the alum pot by boiling water in it for about 50 minutes to put on a protective layer of oxidation...dark brown.
Thanks,
Jim
