Three talented Roanoke chefs are teaming up for a special dinner that will benefit the Local Environmental Agriculture Project, the non-profit behind the farmers markets at Grandin, West End, Lick Run (10th Street) and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
The five-course meal will be prepared by Nathaniel Sloan of Local Roots Restaurant, Aaron Deal of The River and Rail, and Mark Baldwin of Blue Ridge Catering. The dinner will take place at Local Roots Restaurant on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. The ticket price of $60 includes alcoholic beverages and gratuity. Live music will be provided as entertainment.
This was originally intended to be a private event, but LEAP is still trying to sell the last 15 tickets. If you are interested in attending the benefit dinner, email Brent Cochran at email@example.com.
