Eat, Drink and (try to) be Merry!

After a long week, few things could be a better pick-me-up than free wine, free bread and delicious cheeses!
That's what will be on hand at Bel Pasto tomorrow during their Earth Day celebration.
According to their customer e-mail, Bel Pasto will be pouring wines from Crete, South Africa and Washington State on Saturday. They'll also have "a groaning cheeseboard, a plethora of olive oils...a beer sale and round-up tasting."

If you haven't sampled any of Alex Eliades' breads from Bread Craft, the store I wrote about in Wednesday's column, this is your chance. Bel Pasto will apparently be offering tastings of many of his breads, and some can be dipped in those olive oils and dipping spices.
In addition, some of personal chef Doreen Sidor's seafood fra diavolo, dill chicken salad and cold pea confetti salad will be on hand to sample and purchase.
Add to all this some special sale prices on beer and wines and you've got a nice outing for a Saturday afternoon. Questions? Give them a call at 904-2602.
