My thoughts on the bottom three

My prediction for the bottom 3 after tonight's performance of Dolly Parton songs:

Kristy Lee Cook sang one of my all-time favorite Dolly songs. "Coat of Many Colors" always makes me cry, but Kristy Lee's version only made me giggle. Sorry, KLC. Bottom three.

Ramiele Malubay sang "Do I Ever Cross Your Mind." It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't something we'll remember, either. Sorry, Ramiele, it's time for you to visit the bottom 3 stools once and for all.

Jason Castro, who I love, by the way. But his performance just pales in comparison to the actual stars of the show. But, I'll pitch a tent next to your stage at FloydFest, Jason. I swear!

My favorites tonight? Syesha. Yep. I loved it. And Michael Johns. He's sneaking up on David Cook. He nailed it tonight.

More analysis coming. Keep an eye out. Add your two cents. Or three. Or four.

Jen (too)

Agree with your bottom three - KLC, RM and JC... Archuleta is back! That was a great song and I agree Syesha did well, but that's a hard song to sing - will always be compared to the original and Whitney. I didn't particularly care for Michael. I agreed with Simon about Carly - needs some fashion intervention - where are Clinton and Stacey when you need them?

Too bad no one sang, "White Limosine..."

Ok, Michael Johns was awesome. Loved the gospel/blues version of the song. I like him better than David Cook b/c he seems more genuine to me. Carly has got the best control of her voice of all the girls. I hope she makes it.

Brooke White should not have been in the bottom three. She is the greatest of all of them. Her voice and the way she looks on tv says Star.

Brook is too old and dreary, she belongs in a restaurant. Of course she can sing but she is out of touch with the age group that is going to buy cds. She is not marketable. You all bash Jason but he sings effortlessly, with alot of conviction and emotions, he actually reminds me a little of Bob Marley.

Au contraire, dona! If you read some other posts, you'll see how much I love Jason Castro! He doesn't have the best voice on the show, but I'd go see him anytime! :-)

I watched all the video's again over at http://idol-mania.com/american-idol-fan/ and Michael Johns and Carly did the best.

It was Ramiele's time to go, she had two bad weeks in a row. Next to go should be Kristy Lee Cook
