April 29, 2008Where's Wendy? Don't worry, you're in good handsHey readers, If all went according to plan, I should be in Switzerland right now. It was time for a vacation. Even in the middle of the "American Idol" season. But, never fear. The blog is covered. This week, avid blog reader Amy Hanek is going to take over my role and contribute her thoughts on the show. So, look for her comments this week, and as always, post your own. Next week (I'll be back May 12), Nona Nelson of The Happy Wag, our pets blog, will man the ship. Amy and Nona watch "Idol" as much as the rest of us, so the blog will be in good hands. 
Here's a little bit about Amy Hanek (from Amy): I live in Glade Hill (Franklin County). I moved here from Florida in 2006. I used to work at Disney as a restaurant manager, but now I substitute teach, raise my three kids (7,9 and 11) and write. I also have a blog - www.houseonthegladehill.blogspot.com. You can find my regular ramblings in the Laker Weekly (Friday insert in The Roanoke Times) every other week and restaurant reviews in Prime Living Magazine every month. |
