Not really 'With You' on this one, David A.

So David A. does finally shake it up a bit. He sang Chris Brown's "With You." He mentioned that he wanted to change things up a bit and sing something younger. It was very funny hearing him say "Boo." Randy agreed.

Again, he flubbed when he had to sing something fast. I'm not trying to pick on the kid; he has a great voice. He just needs more practice. Simon said it was like "a chihuahua trying to be a tiger." Looks like he might've needed Daddy's help afterall on song choice.

Syesha selected Peggy Lee's "Fever" and used a chair as her prop. Where did Syesha get this newfound confidence?? I love it. Would I buy her album? Probably not, but still I'm digging this comeback of hers. It kind of reminds me of Kristy Lee Cook's turnaround.

Randy said she sang it "amazingly well." If Paula starts her comments with "you look lovely tonight," it only means bad things are coming. Paula didn't like it. Simon didn't like it and said she might regret it, calling it a "lame cabaret performance." It wasn't nearly as lame as David A.'s botched and uncomfortable version of Chris Brown's hit.

David Cook chose Switchfoot's "Dare You To Move." He seemed to fumble a bit on pitch at the beginning of the song. I'm not sure if he was trying too hard or what, but his voice just didn't seem there. I agree with Paula that the song was too short.
