Recruiting update

It looks as if SuperPrep All-American Dominique Terrell from Osbourn High School in Manassas is headed to Virginia.

As one of my best sources put it: “He’s staying close to home and it’s not Blacksburg or Morgantown.”

Book it.

Also, Virginia Tech has taken a commitment from Robert Lockhart, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver from West Boca Raton, Fla., who visited Blacksburg last weekend.

Lockhart picked Tech over Nebraska and Kansas State.

I’m hearing that linebacker Stephone Anthony from Wadesboro, N.C., picked Clemson over the Hokies.

Have been away from my computer so I’m guessing that’s probably been reported elsewhere.

Doug, it’s a true privilege to read your articles. I, for one, find your work to be exceptional. I’m not the only one that feels that way. My dog appears to hover above your articles before he relieves himself. Go ‘Hoos!!!

Hey WHO”S? Look at the past ten years recuiting and you have topped Tech before, but what did it get you!

And a Ha, Ha, Ha to you Robert – UVA didn’t get Grant! But it looks like Anthony made you sweat!

So let’s see how things turn out on the Football Field the next three or four years – You are still UVA! I heard you brag before!

Florida State will rule the ACC once more!
