UVa football commitment
Tim Harris, a 6-foot-2, 173-pound defensive back from Richmond’s Varina High School, has become the highest-rated football prospect to commit to Virginia for 2013.
Harris, rated the No. 8 junior in Virginia by The Roanoke Times following the 2011 season, is a four-star recruit on the rivals.com five-star scale.
According to rivals.com, Harris also had offers from Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan and California.
Harris, listed with a 4.48 second clocking for 40 yards, was a 2011 Varina teammate of UVa signees Maurice Canady and Tyrell Chavis.
UVa has four commitments for 2013.

Just a little more on Harris, you might add that he is a 3 star on Scout!!!!!
Wish him all the best. Hope he has a lot of success playing for the second best team in the state.
Geez George,
Did we strike a nerve?
10-4
Harris is also a 4 star on 247.
If they’re 4-star on one of the sites and 3-star on the other, I’ll generally give the kid the benefit of the doubt and go with the higher number, if it’s a reputable service.
If UVA is the second best team in the state that must make JMU number one and Tech 3rd.
