Don’t many schools being puzzled by having too many good QB’s. A nice problem to solve. I agree, let ‘em fight it out and see what happens!!
Good luck getting Roberts to chill out on anything UVA or VT related.

It was only a couple of years ago when the talk was about all of the Virginia-bred QBs playing outside of the Commonwealth. It will be fun the next few years watching Virginia QBs lead the Hoo and Virginia Tech programs.

Good column, Doug. So many options–it can’t be bad. And if any UVa QBs needed more incentive to prepare hard for this Fall, they’ve certainly got it. I have to agree, though, that Sims is unlikely to receive a waiver that would make him eligible right away. The NCAA looks for a clear “catastrophic event” they can point to that makes the player’s return to his home area necessary.
