    Doug,

With regards to your conversation with Roberts about Navy being the 16th team (consider the source):

There is no way the Navy gets into the ACC. Look at their women’s s sports. And they may also be irrelevant in football now that all of Paul Johnson’s players are gone.

The team I pursue, if I am the ACC is Penn State. Who might be ready to jump to a new conference if it included Notre Dame for all sports. Many still miss the Pitt rivlary at both of those schools.

    Otherwise, stay at 15.

Penn State will NEVER leave the B1G, because the B1G is the most stable, profitable conference in the country. That includes ALL sports across the board. The B1G is the model for the lesser conferences to follow. The SEC has football, and interest in virtually nothing else. The B1G is more profitable per school, and more respected academically, as well. That actually matters to most schools, if not to some fan bases.

Penn State leaving the B1G to come to the ACC is a bigger freefall than VT leaving the ACC to return to the Big East. The only place where it’s being discussed is on tinfoil internet boards that feast on conspiracy theories and make celebrities of morons like ‘Dude from WVa’.
