April 10, 2008Roanoke gas prices set new recordThe price of a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline in the Roanoke metropolitan area set a new record at $3.235 today, according to AAA. The average price statewide also set a new record at $3.278, and experts say parts of the nation will see the average price rise to $4 at some point this summer.
