Video: Roanoke Times “Year in Review 2009″

For the past fews years, we’ve turned our video cameras on our own newsroom and taken the time to reflect on what the year meant to us.  In this wonderful 2009 edition of our year-end video, roanoke.com journalists Jordan Fifer and Chris Zaluski interspersed interviews with current staff members with vintage footage of newsrooms gone by.

We showed the video at staff meetings yesterday and would like to share it with our readers to provide some insight on what inspired us during one of the most challenging years in our industry. We hope you’ll watch and share your feedback here, too.
