Meet the newsroom: Mary Hardbarger

Mary Hardbarger is our community content coordinator for The Burgs, a website and zoned print section that covers the New River Valley. That means she wears a lot of hats. She’s responsible for overseeing the website, and also working on the print side to get your submissions of news and photos into our print editions.   2. Good morning Mary: Thank you for taking picture and recognizing my husband – Quinten Edwards – best bus driver – 2012 NRV. I call #17 the classroom bus on wheels. The majority of his students, who are interested, know the capitols of the states – all grades. Math questions, spelling words, etc.

    Thanks for your attention to detail and willingess to print all things New River Valley. Your photogaphy in The Burgs has gotten better with the new layout…Great job.
