McDonnell to hit Sunday talk shows

Gov. Bob McDonnell will be back on the Sunday talk show circuit this weekend, discussing presidential and gubernatorial politics and two programs.

McDonnell, a Mitt Romney supporter, will appear on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace to talk about the presidential campaign. He’ll be joined on the program by former U.S. Rep. J.C. Watts, who is backing Newt Gingrich.

McDonnell also will be a guest on CNN’s State of the Union program to discuss the 2o12 governors’ races and the presidential campaign. McDonnell, the chairman of the Republican Governors Association, will appear with Gov. Martin O’Malley of Maryland, the Democratic Governors Association chairman.

McDonnell will do both interviews from Richmond, his office said.
