Goodlatte and Hurt to hold job fair in Lynchburg Aug. 6

If you’re on the eastern side of our coverage area, and are looking for work, here’s news you can use: Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Roanoke County, and Rep. Robert Hurt, R-Chatham, are hosting a job fair in Lynchburg on August 6.

Here are particulars, from Goodlatte’s office:

Congressman Bob Goodlatte, along with Congressman Robert Hurt, will host a regional job fair at the Liberty Mountain Conference Center. The Conference Center is located off Route 460 at 3700 Candler’s Mountain Road in Lynchburg. Parking will be available. Local businesses will be on hand to meet with job seekers. No registration necessary for job seekers.

Any businesses interested in participating should contact Congressman Goodlatte’s Lynchburg office at 434-845-8306 or Congressman Hurt’s Danville office at 434-791-2596.
