UPDATE, 3 p.m.: We also have photos from the event in this post on our Southwest Roanoke County community news site.

a good and large crowd was in attendance to see Chris, from Radford’s “Crumb and Get It”, give a rousing presentation of the program, which was “I did build my business!”. It was so appropriate for Ryan’s event to be held in Obama’s Waterloo, given his “off the tele-prompter” (thus more likely to be… honest), stated belief uttered last month in downtown Roanoke that, “you didn’t build….your business….somebody else did”. This was a great event for Ryan, and for the Republicans.
As we left the event, we noticed a handful of folks huddled under the banner of “move-on”….expressing some dissatisfaction with the parties to the Ryan event. They appeared quite comical, as all except one looked as though they were picked up off the streets, and couldn’t express themselves coherently, while one guy, obviously the overseer, was dressed professionally and actually engaged in no commentary with the crowd that I noticed. They didn’t get in anybody’s way, and as far as sending a consistant, positive message concerning what they had been told to say, they failed miserably, and “move-on” wasted some small amount of money.
