Obama, Ryan to stump in Virginia this week
With 50 days to go until the election, it seems like the presidential candidates and their running mates already have blazed a well-worn path through much of the battleground state of Virginia.
They’re not finished.
President Barack Obama will make another campaign stop in Virginia on Friday. He will appear at a rally at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, home of the Carolina League Potomac Nationals.
Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan, who’s becoming a frequent visitor to Virginia, has two stops scheduled in the state. On Tuesday, he’ll headline a rally at Christopher Newport University in Newport News. And, on Wednesday, he’ll attend a rally at Piedmont Precision Machine in Danville.
And that’s just what the campaigns have announced so far. Stay tuned.
