Radford GOP office takes advantage of its gas station history

Last month we noted that Radford Republicans had opened a Victory campaign office in the former Triangle “Save-X” gas station at 1001 East Main Street.

Now, we see that they’re playing off of the building’s history as a gas station to zing President Barack Obama.

Do they have room to add “But we also know that the President of the United States had nothing to do with, or can control the price of crude”

I said it when gas was over $4 with Bush, and I will say it now. The PotUS can’t control gas prices. This isn’t right or left its just fact.

Also Redford GOP food for thought.

Gas was about that price when Bush took office then by the Summer of ’08 was over $4 a gallon. What you forget is thanks to the economy crashing in Sept ’08 demand went down there for price went down.

Let’s ask them if they promise to get prices back to that level is Romney is elected.

The daily price of gas is well outside of the ability of either candidate’s control HOWEVER a sound energy policy is not. The current administration has tossed billions at failing companies involved in “alternatives” to ICE’s. The current administration has not a clue on energy except to toss gobs of tax dollars had hope for the best. Here is a clip of BHO’s solution to everything, incl. energy.

Fortunately for the country, Redford isn’t responsible for picking out the president.

Kristen,Redford is not a place in Virginia. LOL. All politics is local, we will do our part to motivate the base in the City of Radford.
