Avery Eliades, our community journalist for our Salem community news site, has been out in western Roanoke County talking to voters.
She found it easy to find Romney supporters, but a lot harder to find an Obama voter.
That shouldn’t be surprising. The precincts she visited voted 63 percent and 68 percent for John McCain four years ago.
You can find her report here, along with lots of photos.
She had this previous report from Salem.

I am an OBAMA SUPPORTER and I live in SW County…..
I live in the county and certainly not an Obama supporter and if that becomes the “norm”, I’ll move again.
I’m very sorry for you Susan.
To clarify, if it’s not evident from their avatars, #1 Susan is a different person than #2 Susan.
