What’s still out in Roanoke and why that’s bad for Romney

Roanoke still has seven precincts out, and many of them are strongly Democratic precincts.

These are the seven and how they voted last time:

* Highland No. 1 (Obama 83%)
* Jefferson No. 1 (Obama 56%)
* Williamson Road No. 2 (McCain 55%)
* Peters Creek (Obama 73%)
* Villa Heights (Obama 95%)
* Garden City (McCain 57%)
* Absentees (Obama 64%)

So five of the seven voted for Obama last time, and heavily. Add this to the list of localities that are still out in Virginia — which are heavily weighted toward strong Democratic areas.
