Maybe this was symbolic in gesture, knowing full well he would ignore them. They will bring it up when he runs again, and this will hurt the committee. Because of his lack of caring, it discredits the committee and makes them irrelevant.

What a novel idea – the people telling their Congressman to represent them. This is the quintessential American notion of lower public officials standing up to higher officials who have become disconnected and “above” the people. The Fifth District should pass this same resolution to Robert Hurt.

SO, Let’ say Bob ignores this request. What is the worst that will happen? They try and replace him? Not gonna happen. When he retires, which will probably be in 30 more years, they can replace him.

People need to pray for a gerrymandering NOT in his favor. That is the only hope in getting a non-RINO in office for the 6th.
