Since the layoff finding a job in the Roanoke Valley has been very tough. I just cant pay my bills making 9.00hr which employers here seem to think is OK. If I were trained or degreed in healthcare it would be easier since Carilion seems to be the one hiring everyone. You know the economy is bad in an area when you are laid off from a supposed recession proof industry.
