Wow, the Roanoke Valley will be represented by three Senators! Wow, Senator Stanely will soon represent the interests of Radford University, Virginia Tech and Ferrum College! He must have great expertise dealing with issues of higher education. But my big question, who will represent Morgan Griffith in the State Senate?

If Democrats were in control, they would be doing the same thing. I don’t know why this is even news. Districts change with each election. Always has, always will. Nothing new to see here.

Nelson is now in the 25th (Creigh Deed’s district). We’d be moved into the district with Steve Newman. The House split Nelson last year into the 20th and 59th House Districts which neutralized our normally Democratic voting record. They are now trying to do the same in a new Senate District.

Thank goodness the continuing embarrassment that is our General Assembly has a short session this year so the amount of time they have to screw up the state will be limited.
