Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli played Good Samaritan for a lucky motorist on Interstate 64 Friday.
According to a story broadcast Friday night on Richmond’s NBC 12, Cuccinelli and driver Cory Chenard were were returning to Richmond from a meeting in Staunton when they saw smoke billowing from a semi-truck on the eastbound side of the interstate in Louisa County.
They pulled along side of the truck and saw that the back tires were engulfed in flames. Cuccinelli yelled to the driver, who could not see the flames, and got her to pull off the highway. Cuccinelli helped her from the cab and assisted her in putting out the fire with an extinguisher.
