Democrats need to get off their butts and pass the McDonnell plan. We all know we must do something about transportation, so let’s make the hard choices and do it. McDonnell’s plan would have garnered more money and produced significant revenue for transportation. The governor has brought Virginia far. Are Democrats going to hold us back yet again? Let’s pass the bill as originally sent by McDonald and move on. Give it a try! We can always amend it later if it doesn’t meet the needs of Virginians the legislature thinks it does.
