Georgia Tech (15-16) had five players in double figures, led by seniors Anthony Morrow and Jeremis Smith with 18 apiece. Morrow had six 3-point field goals and freshman guard Maurice Miller had five as the Yellow Jackets went 13-of-24 from beyond the 3-point arc. UVa coach Dave Leitao did not mention the possibility of postseason play until asked, explaining that a possible bid to the National Invitation Tournament or new College Basketball Invitational "is out of my hands," he said.
