Trejbal: Cutting the grass a Rosa L. Peters Park
Private park should mow its own grass

Our summer of extremes brought first flooding rains and now blazing sunlight. At least the grass liked it. Almost as soon as the mower goes back in the shed, it needs to come back out.
If you are tired of mowing and live in Christiansburg, there’s another option: Ask the town to take care of your lawn. Town council does not mind spending taxpayer dollars cutting the grass on private property. At least it doesn’t mind doing it at the privately owned Rosa L. Peters Children’s Playground.
