Can we be a two-trolley town?

In 1971, when I was in sixth grade, my teacher regularly passed out copies of Scholastic Magazine — an educational news publication geared toward schoolkids. I still have a copy — tucked away in a trunk with some old papers — about what life in the United States would be like 30 years in the future.

  1. There is little to no interest in a trolley, tracked or not. If anyone was interested in public transporation at all, Valley Metro would be thriving and the buses would be chock full of happy patrons.
