Editorial: Gerrymandering quandary

Prepare for primary delay

 Lawmakers dawdled on redistricting, so primaries might wait until August.

Talk about legislative deja vu. The General Assembly could postpone Virginia’s primaries this year, just like it did last year.

The presidential primary will still take place on Super Tuesday, March 6. At issue are the Democratic and Republican nominating contests for a U.S. Senate seat and 11House of Representatives seats, now scheduled for June 12.
