Friday letters: Pick of the day

For the GOP, it’s not the economy

In last year’s General Assembly campaign, Republicans around the state ran on a platform of job creation and economic development. It worked, and they won a majority in the Senate as well as the House of Delegates. Since they’ve been in charge and able to pass legislation at will, here are the bills Republicans have delivered to us:

  1. Thanks Ms. McClintock, maybe your reminders will penetrate some of those thick skulled voters who actually thought the GOP were truly sincere in their political promises.
