Editorial: Cantor levels the playing field

A whoopsie for democracy

 Rep. Eric Cantor gave $25,000 to a Super PAC that encourages greater competition.

“Forward-thinking” isn’t typically considered an insult, but Republicans in the U.S.House of Representatives are in a huff over praise, er accusations, that they have taken democracy to heart.

The fracas was sparked by news that House Majority Leader Eric Cantor’s political action committee donated $25,000 last month to the Campaign for Primary Accountability.
