   I seem to recall a different version of this cartoon being run earlier. Am I losing my mind, or was there also a version that showed Seth Greenburg’s body laying on the ground with his feet chopped off?

   Yes, an earlier version of this cartoon was on the blog last week. Chris redrew it, and it will be in The Roanoke Times tomorrow.

   Well, I think either he or the RTEB, or both should be commended on their decision to let discretion be the better part of valor and reconsider the propriety of the original cartoon.

   Thanks. Chris, of course, did not intend to make any connection to the Tech shootings. When you raised that issue we realized the cartoon could be viewed in a way that was unintentionally hurtful. Chris graciously agreed to retool the cartoon to address that concern.
