Gridlocked and gutless
Paltry investment means capacity isn’t keeping pace with growth in the number of vehicles on Va. roads.
More evidence, as if any were needed, of the widening gap between populist anti-tax dogma and reality-based policy making in Virginia:
Hampton Roads’ transportation planners released a report last week that ranks the commonwealth next to last in the nation for the percentage of state transportation money that goes into building new highways, as opposed to maintaining old ones.

You ask, “Where are the grown-ups with guts?” Well they are busy in some woman’s uterus, some Planned Parenthood Clinic measuring hallways, some courtroom fighting the separation of church and state, and some podium yelling “pick me! pick me!”. There was a time when courage, hard work, and honesty worked, now it is a liability. Next question?
