Grateful neighbors emerge from the storm

On behalf of Old Southwest Inc. and the residents of our neighborhood, I want to extend our gratitude and heartfelt thanks for all the assistance and hard work that was given and continues to be given to us during a most difficult time.

The incredible storm that hit our area on June 29 that knocked out power to many parts of the city as well as our neighborhood took a toll on not only the individual households and people living in them, but the surrounding streets and historic Highland Park. After eight long days, power to most of our area had been restored.
