Bedford Co. sunshine
Sometimes events overtake our editorials. Such was the case with Tuesday’s piece, “Bedford County’s secret interviews.”
While we were putting it on the page, supervisors were rendering it moot. We criticized the county’s plans to conduct closed-door interviews of candidates to fill the remaining term for the vacant District 2 seat. On Monday, supervisors announced they instead will hold the interviews in an open meeting.
