Supervisors should interview candidates to replace Neudorfer in public.
On Nov. 6, Americans will exercise their greatest democratic privilege, the right to vote and hold elected officials accountable. In Bedford County, democracy might need that boost – because the day before, it will die just a little.



You say “Bedford County residents will justifiably wonder if the remaining supervisors chose someone who is simply a political ally or someone who truly will reflect the concerns of the people.” No, I am sorry, but they won’t. A few will, the most will not even notice.
