Don’t trust your money to a generic adviser
By Andrew Sherman
What’s in a name? Ask any mother and she will probably tell you, quite a lot. The amount of time a couple spends laboring over their child’s name prior to labor is astounding.
In contrast, we spend virtually no time worrying about the names our “financial advisers” give themselves. This is a curious fact given that someday our children may or may not inherit anything from us based on the advice of these so-called “financial advisers.”
Sherman, of Roanoke, is a registered investment adviser with Banks Channel Advisors.
