The mayor’s big reveal

Roanoke’s mayor airs the council’s laundry and soils its record of working toward more-transparent governing.

While a guest of the Mill Mountain Advisory Board the week before last, Roanoke Mayor David Bowers let it be known its days could be numbered.

“The mayor said it was possible we’d be disbanded. This was shocking news to all of us,” Nancy Dye told the Roanoke City Council on Monday. And shocking news to council members. Not that the committee might be restructured, as they’ve considered, but that word had leaked prematurely.

    Thank you Roanoke Times. Funny how shady Trinkle and Rosen get when dealing with Mill Mountain add tag along Ferris to the crew and it its one to watch.
