Zoning in on an enterprising change
Roanoke will need to consolidate its two enterprise zones, excluding some qualifying properties.
Roanoke City Council on Monday will hold a public hearing on a plan to begin consolidating its two enterprise zones.
The reason is familiar: The state does not have enough money to fully fund the current number of zones across Virginia that help businesses improve their buildings and expand their workforce.
