Accelerating toward disaster

So, the 6th District Republican Committee has given Rep. Bob Goodlatte his marching orders (“Goodlatte told to sack House Speaker Boehner,” Nov. 17 news story). Fire Boehner, because he finally wants to evidence some statesmanship in Congress to solve our fiscal crisis.
I cannot believe the hubris. It is exactly why I did not vote for one person on the ballot Nov. 6 who had an “R” beside his name.

The nineteen faceless white conservatives which the Republican Party has chosen to head all the House committees is juist another example of how they don’t get it. They treat diversity like a contagious disease and for them iot has become exactly that—one that is killing them.
After the show at their convention, that was an extreme disappointment dave, I agree!
