America needs a team effort
By Sam Pillis
I am thankful the election is over. I strive to pay attention to the issues and to understand how each candidate wants to address each issue and make America the best it can be.
It is very hard to know the truth when the game of politics is played. The game is to make your opponent look as bad as you can and to present your way of doing things as being the best way for everyone concerned. If you just listen to and watch the advertisements, you will get information nowhere near the truth. You have to dig through a lot of information, newspapers, magazines, news shows, etc., to come close to finding the truth.

Well said Sam Pillis! That is all so true and thank you for saying it.
I heard two businessmen interviewed on the news last night. One, a florist, said that the increased taxes on incomes over 250K would cost him 8K that he would not have to spend on his employees or the business (both of which are tax deductible, so go figure). The second one said that as long as he had the opportunity to make money, the 3% point increase in taxes on that profit would not hinder him from going after any opportunity, or hiring the people needed to make that opportunity work for him.
It is all in your attitude and your politics IMO. This charade of the sky is falling from those out of power (who had a mighty hand in making the economy what it is) is starting to sound more like sour grapes than any shade of truth.
What about all the years you have benefited from the lower tax rates and the obvious profits you reaped from them? Yes, I know, it is all, what have you done for me lately.
#1 So, we tax until all business operators conclude it makes no more sense to expand/grow (the economy). Then what?
