Audit aims to shame Virginians into voting

The annoying tactic is a side effect of open government laws skewed toward politicians and their friends.

Speaking of hiding the identity of donors, 80 percent of cash going to help elect Republicans from outside groups comes from anonymous donors. For Dems, less than 10 percent is secret. Why is it that Repub donors don’t want people to know who they are?

Let’s hear Obama tell us how much he raised from unsecured credit card transactions through his website.

With conservatives willing to break the law to “prove” a point you mean?

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/conservative-websites-obama-foreign-donation-stin

A investigation into the ability of the Obama campaign to accept foreign donations by the conspiracy website World Net Daily appears to have broken federal election law. The website made donations to the Obama campaign for the amount of $15 and $5 using a Pakistani Internet Protocol and proxy server, a disposable credit card, a fake address, and the name “Osama bin Laden.”

But the site’s editor, Joseph Farah, said the test was worth the risk, and compared it to civil rights-era civil disobedience.

If it wasn’t for dirty tricks would the TP/R Party have any at all?

But in the interests of disclosure, here you go:

“ALG, a conservative group with a libertarian bent.”

I thought the left was all about voter turnout.

OK, my jab done, this is IMO despicable. However, and for good aggregate reasoning, legal.

If you get such a missive, your choice…..read it or throw in the trash.

#6 – Kathie’s post was not a “non-response” gdad, she made a valid point. Will Obama com clean on his “anonymous” donors?

    Of course not.
