If the Republicans stay with Karl Rove and the Tea Partiers and keep watching Fox News and reading the Washington Times they will definitely verify Einstein's "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. However, they have come up, not that they will admit it just now, by reversely ridding themselves of Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock.

The election is only two days old and the FOX hounds are already howling. Carl Rove and his rich buddies wasted a lot of money. You will hear all the FOX cry babies moan and groan for four more years. The landslide predicted for Romney turned out to be a Republican mud slide. The Democrats proved that the Republicans could not buy the election.

If a car is driving off a cliff, is it obstructionist to try to slam on the brakes or kill the engine? or is it more prudent to reaon with the driver to slow down or stop? I guess it depends on how close you pwercieve the edge of the cliff or how fast it seems it is approaching. One mans obstructionism is another prudence, but the victors write the history books.
Boehner was smart he extended th olive branc first, made the frt move so now if tht is rejected, who is being the obstructionist? Well it should be he who rejects it, but it will be Boehner and Houe Republicans because ther offer wasn’t “reasonable enough”.
My point is cooperation is a two way street, we have a divided governmetn so NEITHER has a mandate, neither has the high ground. They each have to give.

#s 1,2 & 3 I agree. Maybe the sun just set on Allen’s Virginia political career. One of his political signs had, “Allen for Jobs.” I thought there was an oxymoron in that somewhere. On one of his TV signoff’s, he said, “My Job Is to Fight For Yours.” Obstructionism and getting on the Sunday talk shows do not protect or create jobs.
